What is the US doing about all of this?
As we all know, Nigeria has been in a critical situation for quite some time now.
Beginning with the #ENDSARS peaceful protest to the violation of peace by armed men in the protest.
Though the atmosphere in Nigeria is lighter than before, a matter of concern is still present, due to the speech delivered by the President of Nigeria yesterday.
Thankfully, it appears that the US have also taken up this matter of concern and have decided to interfere with the situation.
Yesterday evening, the US delegation in Nigeria held a meeting in Abuja with the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
In the meeting, they declared clearly their condemnation of the use of excessive force by military forces on unarmed #ENDSARS protesters in Lagos.
It was even revealed that the Nigerian Government in the meeting admitted that there were fatalities in the event, at Lekki Toll Gate A.K.A The Bleeding Bridge.
The United States State Secretary, Mike Pompeo went on to suggest that all the military forces involved in the shooting and killings should be prosecuted.
He also extended his condolences to the victims and the families of the victims of this violence.
This is what we have been asking for. Do you think this is the beginning of international intervention in the Present situation.
