Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett claims that the Welshman could remain in the spurs team after his season-long loan deal expires. He also claimed that it is mainly due to the fact that he was treated unfairly while in Madrid.

Asked if Bale would stay at spurs after his loan spell, Barnett replied, “Yeah, there are a lot of opportunities. It’s left to him.

“The most important thing is for him to enjoy his football and that he’s playing well. As long as that’s happening, it’ll all be fine.”

Suarez facing police investigation over Italian test

Uruguayan forward Luiz Suarez is under investigation following allegations of irregularities in the Italian citizenship test he underwent last week.

The exam was taken as a part of the process involved in completing his move to Juventus as the squad have no space for non-EU players.

However, it was alleged that the 33-year old forward knew the exam questions beforehand.

West Ham boss and two others test positive for COVID-19 

West Ham United manager David Moyes along with two other players; Issa Diop and Josh Cullen all tested positive for the coronavirus.

The club stated that the infected persons were asymptomatic and were informed following tests while preparing for their Carabao Cup tie with Hull City at the London Stadium.

Moyes, Diop and Cullen were instructed to go home and self-isolate in accordance with safety protocols concerning COVID-19.

Carabao Cup match between Leyton Orient’s and  Tottenham Hotspurs called off

Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie between Leyton Orient and Tottenham Hotspur has been called off because a number of O’s players have coronavirus.

Several members of the League Two club’s squad returned positive tests after Saturday’s draw with Mansfield.
